Entropy
"Entropy" is a measure used to quantify chaos, disorder, randomness or unpredictability and originated from the second law of thermodynamics in physical chemistry. The law states that the total amount of chaos and disorder will naturally increase over time and energy is required to maintain or restore structure and order.
I created this photographic series during the COVID period in response to the sudden changes and chaos that were happening around me. These experience brought to light that "the world takes on its full meaning when viewed upside down". This photographic series has been broken down into three parts; Disorder, Confusion and Trapped. Each part represents a different stage within my personal experiences.
All contemporary pieces are available as fine art prints on Hahnemühle Baryta Photorag Paper, mounted under diasec, 5 edition limit.
