From the cloud to the cloud
When reality, memory and imagination
merge in the creation
When painting language touches the lens language
In the dialogue between cultures and regions
We all have something like clouds
Able to heal their own
“Poetic Wonders of the Sky”
Dinyang art gallery is the first contemporary art museum in Jiaxing, which focuses on aesthetic education for children. This theme is beautifully integrated in Vivian Luo’s curation of the exhibition.
At the same time through the selection of the images Vivian Luo expresses 3 major topics that are important to me.
My feelings and fascination for China
My and the world’s emotion through the pandemic and the desire for unification instead of separation
The Silent Message of nature, that we are all need to learn to listen to.
The ceremony was enlightened by artist Chen Chunfei playing the shakubachi accompanied by her musician friends Gao Xin and Gutei and in a impromptu performance creating a relaxing and calming atmosphere complementing the theme of the installation.
A big thank you to Director Isbella Meng, Associate Director Andrew Chen, Vivian Luo and the whole team of Diyuang Art Gallery for this amazing installation and providing me the opportunity to b e part of this wonderful event.
