CHINA'S MODERN PULSE AT 2017

What a success! 22 September 2017 was my very first exhibition and what a great turn out we had. Over 200 guests turned up to support China’s Modern Pulse and the Charity I support, Shanghai Sunrise.

This grand night took place on the outdoor terrace of the Garden Studio at the Andaz Xintiandi where we gathered to support a local cause and enjoy a fabulous BBQ under the stars!

We were welcomed by Shanghai Sunrise Chairman, BEECHER ASHLEY-BROWN and enjoyed a delicious Autumn BBQ, canapes and cocktails supplied by LUCIAN SUN  with the executive Chef, Andaz Xintiandi. Additionally we were entertained with student displays and performances by talented Zhang Yini Taoyi.

With Wendy Landy, the current SHSR ED,  and I, a board member of Shanghai Sunrise, we took the opportunity to get my work out in front of the public and raise money for a worthy cause.

Shanghai Sunrise raises funds for educational scholarships for underprivileged young people in Shanghai. Since 1996, we have raised over RMB 28 million, creating almost 11,000 high school and university scholarships and helping over 2,500 students and their families.
